Shen Changyu remarked that the world is still facing severe challenges in fighting COVID-19. This high-level video conference delivers the sincere wish of both sides to strengthen IP cooperation. To help combat the disease, they have launched relief measures to safeguard the rights and interests of applicants, ensuring timely remedy of rights for the parties concerned. And they have achieved satisfactory outcomes by doing so. As fruitful progress have been made in both sides’ worlds of IP through years of pragmatic cooperation. Matsunaga Akira said that during the pandemic, Japan has drawn on CNIPA's announcements on relief measures in their work, and the two sides have conducted fruitful exchanges.
